Artistic democracy

B'Rock works independently and creatively. It is not so much the vision of one person as every musician's and collaborator's 'musical soul' that prevails. The orchestra decided not to appoint an artistic leader. B'Rock believes in the democratic principle and strives for the involvement of all of its collaborators in the artistic policy. For this purpose an 'Orchestra Council' was founded. This council gathers on a regular basis (for every production) and reflects on the style of playing, the sound, the choice of instruments, the strength of the orchestra, the programme, the choice of soloists and conductors, the evaluation of musicians and the artistic planning.
