We happily announce that Songs of War received rave reviews in the Netherlands and Belgium. Here are some reactions:
"Songs of war is a purified, distelled musical indictment to the madness of war. It is full of striking linkages. How heartbreaking death and destruction are: today, we feel today the same powerlessness as four hundred years ago." **** - De Standaard
"By letting the female members of baroque ensemble B'Rock read the texts at little lamp light, Goebbels creates an atmosphere of subdued domesticity." **** - NRC Handelsblad
"Stein's texts read aloud by the musicians themselves, works really well: the lecture is realistic and the timing is perfect. " *** - Volkskrant
"It sounded magnificent" **** - Theaterkrant

The 2013-2014 season once again looks very promising! More than 35 concerts are scheduled in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Austria, as well as debuts in Latvia and Poland. With a core of first-class musicians from all over the world, B'Rock is taking a bold and adventurous direction that goes beyond simply performing baroque music.
This season we are presenting the second concert of our Mozart Project. Moreover, B'Rock continues to invest in productions in which old and new music meet. Opera and musical theatre also remain an essential part of our artistic activity.
See you soon!
