Symphonie n°. 1 in C major and Sextet in Es majeur
Beethoven’s first symphony still stands firmly in the rhetorical tradition of the eighteenth century. This is why it is right up our alley! B’Rock Orchestra plays the arrangement by Beethoven’s peer Carl Friedrich Ebers. He turned it into a nonet, but if desired the bass part can be played by cello and double bass, so that in the end there are ten musicians on stage. Coronaproof concert!
