Besides the well-known castrato Carlo Broschi, alias Farinelli, there were many other devine voices in the 17th and 18th centurty such as Antonio Bernacchi en Nicola Grimaldi (Nicolini). B’Rock and the fenomenal French alto Philippe Jaroussky bring a fictive battle on a knife edge between two ‘star-singers’ from the early 18th century in Italy: Bernacchi vs. Nicolini.
