And don’t be surprised if Bach never sounded so effortless: not only does the orchestra know the composer through and through, his work does justice to the flawless technique and musical feeling of each musician. From the intoxicating flutes in the Fourth Brandenburg Concerto, to the sparkling performance of concertmasters Cecilia Bernardini and Evgeny Sviridov in the Concerto for two violins.
