In 1968 genius guitarist Jimi Hendrix moved into a flat right next to Händel’s house in London. He bought Händel records, did »Messiah« and »Belshazzar« jams and saw Händel’s ghost in the mirror. Did he know about Händel excelling at ingenious improvisations in his organ concerts? Today those two share a museum in Mayfair – and a concert tour of B’Rock Orchestra! Four outstanding early music virtuosos offer exciting new Händel interpretations with improvisational bravado and together with B’Rock they launch Lee Santana’s outlandish Hendrix variations. Witness Händel and Hendrix’ message of peace become a musical event: make music, not war!
