Rebecca grew up in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle. “It’s one of the most beautiful places in the world and I try to return for a backpacking trip with my family every year”. As a child she saw a violin made from a cigar box and fell in love with it.
Her very first project with B’Rock was Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice in Vienna. “The staging by Castellucci made me cry every night. It was an incredibly moving experience”. At B’Rock, she loves the connection with the other musicians: “It’s something I don’t find as strong in other ensembles”. Outside of music, Rebecca loves to run and hike, but also to read and watch movies – “any kind of good story!”
