Tami sees herself as allegro con brio. Living her childhood in the small town of Ra’anana in Israel, she had a wonderful youth: “We were surrounded by nature, including many animals, and enjoyed considerable freedom. And there were also the many after-school activities such as sports, music, art…” She began playing the traverso at the age of 8 and loves the instrument for “its variety of tone colours.”
As a musician, she’s happy to be part of B’Rock because “there’s an interesting balance between being very experienced and at the same time young at heart”. When not playing music, you can find Tami visiting flea markets and antique shops. “In French the verb is ‘Chiner’, which means something like treasure hunting. I mostly look for old decorative objects, books, and of course flutes!”
