The cyclical sequence of the seasons in time and space formed the starting point for this ground-breaking programme, which B’Rock has already performed across Europe. The innovator of the 20th century John Cage and the Baroque composer of the 18th century Antonio Vivaldi, each with their own interpretation of the four seasons. Where Vivaldi indulges in an expressive rendering of nature, Cage towards inward, as though he wants to render a psychological sketch of the impact that the seasons have on humans. Season by season B’Rock spans more than two hundred years of musical history.

The result was amazing: Vivaldi's nature painting suddenly sounded avant-garde and Cage's groping introvertion turned out to be a genuine baroque dance.

Homogen, spannend, natürlich vibratolos (...) Die Musiker kultivieren das Leise, zwingen das Publikum zum intensiven Zuhören, lassen es aber kontrastgerecht auch so richtig krachen.
Peter Buske Postdamer Neueste Nachrichten, 27.11.2012
B'Rock confirms its highly characteristic, generous and homogenous, rather round sound.
