The Morning After
In the early morning, something rustles… a lover creeps quietly home after an intense night. In the Middle Ages, this bittersweet farewell inspired entire genres of song. The trouvères had their chansons d’aube, the troubadours their albas, and the minnesängers their so-called tageslieder. B’Rocker and vièle player Manuela Bucher, together with soprano Hannah Ely, brush the dew from their sleeves and join forces with poet, singer and spoken word artist Loeke Vanhoutteghem for a look at love in the 21st century.
