In honor of the 250th anniversary of Graupner’s death, Pim Moorer wrote a new composition for orchestra and chalumeau, the precursor of the clarinet, for which Graupner wrote many overtures and concerto.
Pim Moorer wants to give this historical instrument a fresh revival. Together with chameau-specialist Eric Hoeprich, B’Rock brings back the music of Graupner and his contemporary Telemann.
