Perhaps Bach’s immortal setting of Jesus’ last days is essentially… about us. Although the music and text are centuries old, they invite us to reflect on the choices we make in our own lives. How do we take responsibility, face our fears, deal with loss and dream about a future, any future?
For the new theatre version of In Your Hands, the acrobats of Tall Tales Company are working with director Maartje Bonarius & dramaturge Luc van Esch to develop a brand new staging, which makes full use of the extended opportunities for lighting (Maarten Verheggen) and sound (Koen Keevel).
