With Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, the year unfolds in vivid scenes: chirping spring mornings, stormy summer skies, harvest dances and icy winter winds. Telemann answers with wit and theatrical flair, with the irresistible character portraits of Don Quixote, where the deluded knight, his faithful Sancho Panza and even a flock of sheep come vividly to life. Bibers Battalia brings a battle to life in a gripping way.
At the head of B’Rock Orchestra, giving voice to all these stories with his violin, stands our own concert master Evgeny Sviridov.
