Bachkoor Holland & B'Rock Orchestra
Bach’s St. Matthew Passion is one of the most powerful and moving expressions of Christ’s passion story. From the first notes to the breathtaking final chorus, Bach has loaded the entire score with numerous subtle symbolic references to the words of the Gospel of Matthew by playing with numbers and harmonizations.
2026 is the first year of a new collaboration between B’Rock Orchestra and Gijs Leenaars’ energetic Bachkoor Holland.
The concert on 3 April will be in two parts with a long break in between. Part 2 starts at 14h30.
