Luc Gysbregts

Viola

Luc is a discoverer at heart. As a kid, he found his deceased grandpa’s violin in the basement. “There was only one string on the instrument. The bridge was lost, I had replaced it with a yo-yo at the age of 7 and was fascinated by the sound that came out squeaking and cracking.” This experiment determined his choice of the viola.

Of the many projects he already did with B’Rock, it’s hard to pick one favourite. “But if I have to choose, I’d say the lounge concert in Gent where we played La Senna Festegiannte by Vivaldi”. If not playing the viola, Luc is most likely making a bike ride, hiking or working in his garden in the Ardennes.
