Mark De Merlier grew up surrounded by nature in the beautiful Flemish Ardennes where he learned to play the horn at the age of 10. “There was only one choice: football or music, so I didn’t have to think about it for long.” Before a concert, nerves can sometimes show up. “What helps is to keep studying and not drink any coffee.
